The Alabama DUI and Criminal Defense Blog is a site devoted to the representation of those accused of crimes within the state of Alabama. My name is Steven D. Eversole, and I am a DUI and Criminal Defense attorney located in Birmingham, Alabama. This site is meant to be a resource for practicing Alabama Criminal Attorneys and Alabama DUI Defense lawyers, as well as a source of information regarding Alabama DUI and Criminal Laws to those accused of crimes, or to the inquiring mind of the general public.
Alabama criminal defense lawyers are among the few remaining defenders of personal liberty and freedom. This blog is dedicated to all those criminal defense attorneys who have devoted their lives to protecting the Constitutional Rights of the criminally accused.
I went to law school to be a criminal defense attorney, and I have committed my life to defending the rights of the criminally accused. I have a religious studies degree from the University of Alabama, and received a law degree from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law. I am admitted to practice law in all the state and federal courts in Alabama, and I am a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense lawyers, the Alabama Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National College for DUI Defense, the Alabama State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the American Bar Association's Criminal Justice Committee.
